Juxtaposition takes screenwriting and the scene/film to a different level.

But what is juxtaposition?

Well, I can write a whole book on this as this is a huge topic.

To make it very simple, let me rewrite a short story that you have heard many times :

Akbar draws a line on sand and asks Birbal to make it shorter, without touching or deleting it.

Birbal draws a bigger line parallel to the first line. Thus, the first line becomes shorter.

This is the first known case of juxtaposition :)

Creating contrast and comparison to highlight similarities or differences is called juxtaposition.

You can create it using visuals, dialogue, sound, music, camera angles, colour, character etc etc.

The limit ends with your creativity.
